Marlowe Theatre Minis (Years 1-3)
Marlowe Theatre Mini's is a place for young participants to explore stories, characters and big ideas through games, movement and creative play.
Across the year, participants develop communication, listening and collaboration skills while inventing worlds, creating characters, and bringing stories to life. Sessions are practical, imaginative and designed to encourage curiosity, creativity and confidence in sharing ideas with others.
Participants share their work with family audiences termly, gaining experience in creating and presenting performance for others.
Where demand exceeds available places, the organisation uses a contextual priority framework to improve equitable access for young people who may face structural barriers to participation. Factors may include local postcode data, school context and optional demographic information. No single factor guarantees a place, and allocations are made using consistent and transparent criteria.
All Youth Company members receive discounted tickets to selected shows at the Marlowe Theatre and will have the opportunity to join supervised theatre trips during the academic year.
