Marlowe Theatre Stars (Years 7-9)

Marlowe Theatre Stars is for young people who want to develop their performance and theatre-making skills through practical projects and creative collaboration.

Across the academic year, participants build skills in acting, devising, improvisation, voice, movement and stagecraft while exploring how theatre is created and presented. They develop their ability to interpret stories, create original material and work as part of a creative ensemble.

Through rehearsals, projects and sharings, participants gain experience creating work for an audience and taking greater ownership of the creative process.

Where demand exceeds available places, the organisation may use its contextual priority framework to support equitable access and representation.

All Youth Company members have discounted tickets to selected shows at the Marlowe Theatre and will have the opportunity to join a supervised theatre trip at least twice in the academic year.
