We are committed to action on climate change and environmental sustainability.
We recognise the climate emergency and we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of everything that we do.
We were certified as being a Creative Green organisation in 2020 by the leading arts and environmental charity Julie’s Bicycle. This award was made in recognition of the work that we have undertaken to reduce the environmental impact across everything that we do.
Creative Green recognises and celebrates environmental best practice in arts and cultural organisations. Organisations are named as Creative Green based on their commitment to, and understanding of, environmental issues and the positive changes they have made. It is the only environmental certification scheme designed specifically for the creative and cultural industries.

In February 2022, and with the support of the Theatres Trust and the Wolfson Foundation, we installed solar panels on the roof of our theatre as a way in which to help power the theatre and reduce our carbon footprint.
