Youth Company Practitioner

Freelance

We are looking for theatre practitioners to work with our Junior Youth Company groups (ages 7-10 and 11-13) and our Senior Young Creatives group (ages 14-17) developing their theatre and performance skills and inspiring a lifelong love of theatre.

You will need experience of working with a wide range of young people using theatre skills to facilitate our young people to build confidence and understanding of different performance or production styles.

These sessions are to be designed by you and will offer our young people the chance to test out different skills and to explore responses to these.

We are looking for half term (6 sessions) or full term (11 sessions) ideas with clear learning outcomes that build confidence and skills. We are interested in programming a mix of full-term or half-term blocks within our upcoming sessions.

Our Youth Company classes are made up of young people from across the region and are an important part of our broader Learning and Participation work. We are committed to inclusive and accessible sessions.
