Roy Alexander Weise Director

Roy is a world renowned theatre director and writer most known for Nine NightMaster Harold & The Boys, The Hot Wing King (National Theatre), Untitled f**k m**s s****n play (Young Vic), Much Ado About Nothing (RSC), Safe Space (Chichester Festival Theatre). He served as Joint Artistic Director & CEO of Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre (2019-23). His upcoming work includes: ROBOTA (Headlong), Mozart: Her Story (Tegan Summer Theatricals). Roy was story editor on Letitia Wright’s short film HIGHWAY TO THE MOON (3:16 Productions) and has a number of short film scripts in development as writer and director.

Roy also works as a creative business consultant, story consultant and story editor, dramaturg, acting and writing coach and a mentor to artists on the come up. He was offered an MBE in the late Queen Elizabeth II’s honour roll in 2020.

Catherine Willis Casting Director

Catherine Willis’ career started in regional and then West End theatre which led on to 6 years in-house at the BBC working across ongoing multiple series including Waking the Dead and Casualty. Since setting up her own company in 2006  Catherine has specialised in casting new talent crossing both Drama, Comedy and the dark area in between .

Recent TV series include the award-winning Changing Ends for ITV, A Good Girls Guide to Murder with Emma Myers, C4’s ‘Somewhere Boy’ for Clerkenwell Films, for which Catherine won the 2023 Royal Television Award. Renegade Nell and The Full Monty for Disney+. Recent award winning comedies include Here We Go, The Change and Alma’s Not Normal amongst numerous others.

Philip Arditti Ted

Philip was born in Geneva to Sephardi Jewish parents of Turkish origin and grew up in Istanbul before establishing his career in London.

Philip recent TV credits include THE DAY OF THE JACKAL starring Eddie Redmayne and PROTECTION, BREATHTAKING and NO RETURN for ITV. He received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Uday Hussein in HBO/BBC drama HOUSE OF SADDAM. Film credits include the BBC/Sundance TV drama THE HONOURABLE WOMAN, directed by Hugo Blick, Mike Leigh’s comedy drama HAPPY GO LUCKY and RED II.

He is a stalwart of British theatre whose recent work includes THE SPY THAT CAME IN FROM THE COLD at The Soho Place following a sold-out run at Chichester Festival Theatre and a run of ENGLISH KINGS KILLING FOREIGNERS at Camden People’s Theatre, which he co-wrote and starred in. He appears regularly at the National Theatre, latterly playing leads in productions of OSLO and SALOME (both 2017). Philip has appeared on the London stage in the eponymous role of HENRY IV at the Globe and portrayed Dad in the Royal Court’s BAGHDADDY.

Annie Hulley Pam

Annie Hulley is an English actress, narrator, and writer whose career spans over four decades of British stage and screen. She was born in Wakefield and trained at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School after winning a scholarship.

Her stage career is marked by notable performances at The Crucible Theatre, York Theatre Royal, The Bristol Old Vic, The Royal Court, The Bush Theatre, Leeds Playhouse, Liverpool Playhouse, Oxford Playhouse and Theatre 503.

She is perhaps best known for her prominent roles in Britain’s most beloved soap operas, portraying Karen Moore in Emmerdale and Gwen Davies in Coronation Street. Her diverse television credits also include, Sleepers, People Just Do Nothing, Sirens, Dr Who, Lucky Man, Eldorado, Sweet Medicine, Born and Bred, Skins, Vera, Tipping the Velvet, and the 2024 hit Mr Bates vs The Post Office – to name but a few. In 2026, she joins the cast of the BBC’s The Hairdresser Mysteries.

Beyond acting, she is a prolific voice over artist, currently serving as the narrator for the popular series The Yorkshire Auction House.

A creative force behind the scenes as well, Hulley is a published author and playwright. Her debut play Dog Days was showcased at the Soho Theatre and Theatre503. The Man She Never Met, her first novel was nominated for an Audie Award in 2022 for best original work and narration. Hulley is currently working on her second novel, What Felix Did.

Adam Riches Poo

Adam is an award-winning writer and performer who was named Time Out Comedy Person of the Year after winning the Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show in 2011. He was invited to perform at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival and was nominated for The Times Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Sky Arts South Bank Show Awards. He is best known for his portrayal of actor Sean Bean on the panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and both series of his Radio 4 series The Guns of Adam Riches.

TV credits include: Detectorists (BBC Four); Top Coppers (BBC Three); Horrible Histories (BBC One) and Drunk History (Comedy Central).

Adam has recently been seen in the five star, totally sold-out smash hits Jimmy at Park Theatre and Adam Riches and John Kearns ARE Ball & Boe at Soho Theatre Walthamstow.

He will soon be seen in Edinburgh 2026 with The Captain and The Critic’s Way.
