Live at the Marlowe
Tom Davis headlines our hugely popular night of live comedy.
Live at the Marlowe returns in March with a headline set from critically acclaimed stand up comedian Tom Davis.
Best known for hit shows King Gary, The Curse, Live at the Apollo and Murder in Successville, as well as his hugely popular podcast Wolf and Owl with Romesh Ranganathan, Tom is also known for his stand out performance in Wonka and multiple appearances on A League of Their Own, The Ranganation, Judge Romesh, and Action Team.
Tom Lawrinson will also feature. Boasting over 269,000 followers on TikTok and Instagram, Tom’s ‘wacky and wonderful humour’ draws people from all over the internet. His debut Edinburgh Fringe show, Hubba Hubba was an almost a sold-out run. Tom was the reserve/runner up on BBC’s New Comedy Awards in 2022 along with the runner up for NextUp’s Biggest Award in Comedy for Best Show.
Chantel Nash will also be joining the line up. Chantel has reached the finals of both the So You Think You’re Funny and BBC New Act competitions this year. Last autumn she joined the tour of Mo Gilligan and Friends – the Black British Take Over at the Eventim Apollo in London and has recently launched her podcast Making Friends.
This hilarious evening will be hosted by Laura Smyth. Appearing on shows such as Live At The Apollo, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, Yesterday, Today and the Day Before and As Yet Untitled, she is also an actor and podcaster, co-hosting BBC Sounds hit podcast Bang On It with Michelle de Swarte, and featuring in shows like Pru for BBC Three and the independent feature Cottontail.
