Through our Theatre Careers Open Day, we’re inspiring new generations of creative talent.
The success of a theatre depends on much more than just the actors in the spotlight – as you can discover at our annual creative careers event.
Young people are a central focus at the Marlowe, not least through our creative careers open day. We’re committed to inspiring future generations of creative professionals, showcasing some of the options that may be open to them – and giving them a head start in understanding what it may take to shape a successful career in the arts.

- Technical & Production – Lighting, sound, stage management and other roles that bring shows to life.
- Business & Operations – From finance to venue operations, how to run a successful theatre.
- Front of House & Visitor Experience – Ensuring visitors have an unforgettable experience.
- Marketing & Communications – Promoting shows, creating content and engaging audiences.
- Design & Creative Services – Developing visual content, branding and creative materials.
- Education & Community Engagement – Working to ensure that theatre is accessible to all.
