Your support helps us bring the magic of live performance to Canterbury.
Our year-round programme of live events is only possible thanks to the generous support of our loyal and enthusiastic audiences.
Every donation to the Marlowe makes a difference to our work. It allows us to continue staging our wide-ranging programme of high-quality theatre, dance, music and comedy. It strengthens our initiatives dedicated to new and emerging writers and performers. And it supports our ever-growing work with young people.
What’s more, the Marlowe Trust is a charity – which means that if you’re a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation by 25% through Gift Aid.
Thank you for your support of the Marlowe.

Gift Aid
Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows registered charities to claim an extra 25p for every £1 they receive in donations from UK taxpayers – at no cost to the donor. It’s a brilliant way to make your contribution go a little bit further, and it really helps to support our work.
Your donation to the Marlowe Trust would be eligible for Gift Aid if:
- You’re a UK taxpayer.
- The money you’re donating belongs to you.
- The tax you pay is at least equal to all your charitable donations in the year you donate.
You can read more about Gift Aid at the government’s website.
