School parties get a special welcome at our theatre – with ticket discounts, educational programmes and a bespoke Box Office service from our dedicated team.

We welcome primary, secondary and SEN school parties, as well as groups from further education colleges offering full-time, publicly-funded courses to young people aged 16–18. There’s more information on eligibility below.

School bookings include:

• Free teacher tickets – For most shows, you’ll receive one complimentary teacher ticket for teachers for every 10 paid student tickets

How to book

You’ll need to book your school group using a verified school email address (not a personal account) and provide a school billing address. You may also need to provide your school’s unique reference number (URN) – if you don’t know it, you can find it here. All bookings require a minimum of one member of school staff for every 10 pupils.

Eligibility

If you’re unable to provide a verified school email address and/or a school URN – for example, for home-schooling parties – we require a minimum of 10 pupils (and one teacher) to apply a school group discount.

Our school group discounts are specifically for pupils and teachers on school trips, and aren’t for use by extended families. If your group isn’t eligible for a school discount, and/or if the number of adults on the booking is greater than the number of children, please get in touch – you may still be eligible for a standard group booking, with discounts of up to 15% on many shows at the Marlowe.
