Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 5, Emperor
Rimsky-Korsakov Scheherazade

It’s time to set sail on Sinbad’s Ship as we hear Scheherazade’s tales from the Arabian Nights, told in music by Rimsky-Korsakov. One of his most glittering pieces, Scheherazade sweeps us along on a wave of lush sound, from the beautiful intimacy of ‘The Young Prince And Young Princess’, to the bold, bright colours of the ‘Festival At Baghdad’.
