The Olivier award-winning comedy starring Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner.

In their comfortable period house, David is busy designing a new architectural scheme for a run-down area of South London while his wife, Jane, is doing her best to help its deprived and struggling tenants. They also have a redevelopment project nearer to home: David’s old school chum Colin and his wife Sheila, whose lives aren’t quite as desirable as their neighbours.

But as Sheila becomes increasingly reliant on their support and David’s idealistic designs move inexorably skywards, the foundations start to shift. Who, exactly, is benefiting from these well-meaning ventures? And to what end?

Michael Frayn’s classic comedy – winner of the Evening Standard and Olivier Awards for Best Play – is a funny, gripping and wryly shrewd look at the unforeseen consequences of our best intentions.

Starring TV favourites Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered, Mock The Week, Fleabag) as David and Claire Skinner (Outnumbered) as Jane.
