The Rights Of Others, 2015

In 2015 over 240 participants aged two to 76 years performed in this piece exploring rights and liberties, from historic anniversaries such as the Magna Carta, to considering our freedoms online in a digital age.

Incorporating a promenade performance followed by a new play in The Marlowe Studio, The Rights Of Others was performed Wednesday 8 – Saturday 11 July 2015.

Performers from our ongoing workshops were joined by stage managers from the University of Kent, Fine Art students producing sculptures from Canterbury Christ Church University and local musicians.

Alongside our Canterbury creatives we were proud to take the production worldwide this year, working with an international theatre company from Kosovo. They produced a short film, giving a brilliant insight into life, liberty and creativity in a young country.

The Rights Of Others was developed with the support of The Kobler Trust, Furley Page Solicitors and The Marlowe Theatre Development Trust.

Share the magic of theatre with those who would not otherwise have this life-enhancing chance.
