Our first five years
Since it opened in 2011, The Marlowe has become a vibrant centre for creating new theatre and inspiring the theatre-makers of tomorrow.
Each year we work with hundreds of people from our local community on projects such as our hugely popular youth theatre, our adult participation programme, long-term learning programmes with schools and our annual large-scale community production.
We also support emerging writers and theatre makers as part of our Roar programme, where we help them get their work to the stage through professional mentoring and performance.
The videos below show what we have done and we need your support in the future to help us continue this work and to help change lives through theatre.
