The Marlowe Youth Company (10-13yrs)
These sessions will give participants the chance to express themselves, increase confidence and learn new skills through a fun and friendly environment.
The workshops are an opportunity to perform and explore theatre making skills, whilst also building social skills and confidence.
The Marlowe Youth Company aims to inspire young people with key theatrical skills, and work as an ensemble – making new friends along the way. Each term will focus around a theme of work through devising, exploring text and developing your voice.
The sessions always have a focus on fun: through drama games, scene making, physical theatre and storytelling. Participants will also have the chance to take part in larger scale performances, working alongside people of all ages and showcasing their new skills to family friends.
Sessions taking place during summer term 2020 will be delivered digitally, led by our usual Creative Practitioner.
Parents or guardians (or participants) will be sent a link and instructions of how to access this online platform. This information will be sent to the email address registered on your Marlowe profile.
