Social Media Content Creator
The Marlowe, Canterbury is one of this country’s most successful large-scale independent theatres, with a 1,200-seat Theatre, a 150-seat Studio and The Marlowe Kit, home to our thriving Youth Company.
We present a year-round programme of touring theatre, musicals, dance, opera, music and comedy.
We also produce theatre for and with the communities of Kent and support regional artists and theatre-makers. Our mission is to be the engine house for the performing arts in our region and to shape the spirit of Kent.
We have a vacancy for a Social Media Content Creator to transform The Marlowe’s social media and digital presence.
We want to find someone who can create powerful and imaginative content that will tell the story of what we do and attract new audiences. You’ll have a flair for communication and experience in creating engaging social media content, either in a personal or professional capacity. You’ll also have a track record in devising compelling video assets that can attract attention and increase our reach.
We want to work with people who are passionate about their work, resilient in the face of any challenge that comes their way and supportive of their colleagues.
The Marlowe is an inclusive employer. We value difference and recruit by merit based on fair and open competition. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and from all sectors. We are particularly keen to hear from Black and Asian candidates, candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds, and those who identify as D/deaf or disabled.
We are a Creative Green organisation and are committed to taking action on climate change and environmental sustainability.
