We’re looking for a Production Manager to lead and develop the production department at this very exciting time in the company’s development.
2017-19 has seen a huge range of work produced by the organisation both within our theatre and participation spaces and on a massive scale through our site-specific commemoration of the First World War armistice Return Of The Unknown at Dover Cruise Terminal 1. After this period of intense work, we are now looking at the development and formalisation of our production department and its facilities.
You will be responsible for fulfilling the production requirements of a wide range of work across our professional and participatory output and supporting our professional co-productions. Working alongside the Producing and Technical teams you will ensure that all in-house productions are completed on time, within agreed budgets and to the highest possible standards. You will lead a small dedicated in-house production team reporting to the Director Of Technical & Building Services. You will work closely with our partners and associates, fostering production relationships across the industry, developing and managing our facilities and broadening the expertise available to the organisation.
This new role is key to The Marlowe’s desire to develop its production capability and presents the opportunity to develop a bespoke production function from scratch, within one of the UK’s No1 theatre organisations.
For an informal discussion about the post please contact Euan Maybank, Director Of Technical & Building Services by email.
