Freelance Stage Manager
The Marlowe, Canterbury, is one of this country’s most successful large-scale independent theatres, with a 1,200-seat Theatre, a 150-seat Studio and The Marlowe Kit, home to our thriving Youth Company. We present a year-round programme of touring theatre, musicals, dance, opera, music and comedy. We also produce theatre for and with the communities of Kent and support regional artists and theatre-makers. Our mission is to be the engine house for the performing arts in our region and to shape the spirit of Kent.
As part of the RSC’s Shakespeare Nation programme, we will be creating a new piece of theatre for The Marlowe Studio, working with adults from across Kent. We are looking for an experienced Stage Manager to support this production through final rehearsals and the production period. We are able to offer £600 per week and the ideal candidate would be based in Kent.
