Freelance Artist/Facilitator Pool Recruitment Workshop

Freelance

The Marlowe’s Learning & Participation team are hosting another freelance recruitment workshop on Wednesday 18 October 5.30pm-7.30pm, to meet performing arts creatives who have or would like to gain experience of working with young people, community groups and schools.

We are aware that there is a rich pool of creative talent across the whole of Kent who we have not had the chance to meet yet, and who may not necessarily aware of the work we do here at The Marlowe.

Our work is expanding, and we have a wealth of new opportunities coming up throughout the Learning and Participation team. We are looking to add to the range of skills within our talented pool of facilitators that we draw to help us excel across our exciting projects.

We are interested in hearing from creatives at the start of their careers, and those who are more established, with a background in dance, music, theatre, circus, clowning, improv, Shakespeare, physical theatre, musical theatre, voice, forum theatre, film, puppets, opera…

On the day we will talk you through our current programme and some of our ambitions. We will ask you to deliver a participatory activity of your choice, such as team building/devising creative activity to the group, so please come prepared to share.

It will be an exciting opportunity to meet likeminded people and share your practice with those who are keen to hear your voice.

Register your interest

If you would like to register your interest, please complete our form and we will get in touch with further information.

If you are interested but cannot make the day, please do still get in contact as we would still like to hear from you.

We are particularly interested in hearing from practitioners with experience working with young people with additional needs.

Please note: the nature of this work constitutes as “regulated work” with children and protected adults. Therefore, candidates must be part of the DBS update system or be willing to undergo a DBS check.
