Front Of House Services Assistant
The Marlowe is Kent’s regional theatre. As one of the UK’s most successful touring venues, we present a rich and diverse programme of drama, musicals, dance, opera, music, pantomime, new writing, poetry and comedy in our state-of-the-art Theatre and Studio. We are committed to developing regional talent, with our vibrant youth theatre and extensive artist development and participation programmes. The Marlowe Kit is our new space in a medieval building, housing a dedicated learning space, an exhibition and escape room, where we are pushing the boundaries of theatre/heritage practice.
This is an exciting time to join our team. The Marlowe became an independent charitable trust in December 2018, allowing us to invest in our success and to develop our producing and co-producing capacity across all scales. Our Everyone’s Theatre initiative will see large-scale site-specific shows bringing world class artists together with the region’s young and emerging artists and community performers.
To build on the great success of the theatre, we are looking to recruit a Front Of House Assistant to join our team.
Every shift is different, and we need a versatile and friendly person who can work in a variety of areas at the theatre including as an usher, in the restaurant, bars or the box office. The successful candidate will be a good communicator and will help us to offer great customer service to everyone who visits The Marlowe.
The role does include working at weekends and evenings. This is a great opportunity to join our team and work at one of the country’s most important regional theatre.
